This radio was produced by a company called GHU which was a successor of Grisby-Grunow maker of Majestic radios. Grisby-Grunow was hit hard by the Great Depression and liquidated in 1934. Grunow's new company and its Grunow radio line was supposed to blaze a new path but wouldn't survive the decade. However, Grunows were known as an innovative and great piece of equipment in its short life. So this a true piece of history complete with stunning vintage-style wallpaper, a motion sensor light and a top drawer to keep any momentos of your cat's past life in the dust bowl.
